Volkswagen 1500

Personal work.
The idea was to make an illustration whose main character is a vehicle.
I was never a big fan of cars, but when I was a kid, my uncle owned a Volkswagen 1500 that he loved. He shared with me a bit of the passion he felt for that car, and that's why it occurred to me to illustrate it.
It occurred to me to place it in an apocalyptic context, mad max style.
Inspired by Alejandro Burdisio's illustrations.
